Adventures around the Word: Word Search is published by Locked Down Gaming. It is a word-search game with offline puzzles designed for children ages 6–9 and their families.
Puzzles work offline. Players may choose to watch one ad to earn one hint. No ad is required to play or finish a puzzle. Google Mobile Ads and Google User Messaging Platform provide advertising and consent services. Google LLC provides these services. The Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share IP addresses (which can indicate approximate location), app/ad interactions, diagnostics and device or account identifiers such as app set IDs for advertising, SDK analytics and fraud prevention. SDK initialization or ad loading can occur before you select an ad. Requests use child-directed treatment and a G content rating. The Android advertising ID permissions are removed from this app; that does not prevent all other SDK data collection. No precise location permission is requested.
The app saves completed words, hint counts, and music, sound, and letter-size preferences locally in its app storage. Game progress and preferences stay in the app; ad-service data is separate. They are used only to restore your game. Android cloud backup and device-transfer backup are disabled.
The same privacy protections apply to every player. The game does not ask players for personal information. Optional advertising services may process data as described above. The privacy policy is accessible from Settings. A grown-up gate protects the option to erase puzzle progress.
A grown-up can erase progress in the app’s Grown-ups section. This clears completed words and hint counts; sound and display preferences remain. To remove all locally stored information, clear the app’s storage in Android Settings or uninstall the app.

Google documents that Mobile Ads SDK data is encrypted in transit using TLS. Locked Down Gaming does not run a game-progress server. Local progress remains until reset, app storage is cleared, or the app is uninstalled. Earned hint balances are removed by clearing app storage or uninstalling. Clearing local progress does not delete data already processed by Google. Google handles service data retention and deletion under its Privacy Policy and retention practices. A grown-up may contact us with privacy questions or requests; no user account is created in the game.
Future versions that change these practices will update this policy and its effective date. Google Play and Android operate under their own privacy policies; this document describes the Adventures around the Word app.
